Society for Operation Minimum Need India — is a charitable trust founded in 2026 with a clear and dedicated vision: to support the poor and marginalised and ensure that no individual is left without life’s most basic needs.
Founded by Brother Susant Kumar Dip, SOMNEED started in Visakhapatnam with a simple yet powerful belief — real change begins when we focus on the essentials: education, health, dignity, and opportunity.
We work at the grassroots, reaching children, families, and communities often ignored. Our aim is not just on support but transformation. Through our programmes, we invest in the physical, educational, and social growth of children, equip youth and women with practical skills, support children with special needs, and deliver sustainable solutions such as clean water to underserved areas.
What motivates us is not charity alone, but responsibility — to build stronger individuals, healthier families, and empowered communities.
